The Starchy Foods.
Wheat, rye, oats, buckwheat, pearl barley, rice, potatoes, chestnuts are well combined with herbs, fats, non-starchy and moderate starchy vegetables. There are permissible combinations of various of starchy foods together.
Mushrooms, pickled cabbage, pickles, and other are highly compatible with potatoes, and bad compatible with bread
The Protein Foods
Beans, peas, beans, nuts (except peanuts), sunflower and pumpkin seeds, meat, fish, eggs, cheese, milk, yogurt, and so on, are ideally combined with herbs, and not combined with the starchy vegetables. Sunflower and pumpkin seeds is permissible to combine with sour fruits and berries.
It is unacceptable to combine the two types of proteins:
Exception: fat cottage cheese, sunflower and pumpkin seeds, nuts and cheese.
The Greens
Sorrel, onions, lettuce, radishes, horseradish, celery, coriander, cilantro. dill, parsley are well combined with any food, except milk.
The Fats.
Butter and vegetable oils, animal fats, cream, and sour cream blend perfectly with the greens, and non-starchy and moderate starchy vegetables.
There is a permissible combination of fats with starchy foods, if use a large amount of herbs and non-starchy vegetables.
The fats should not be combined with animal protein, fruit and sugar
Sugar
Honey, sweets, jam, syrups are better if have 1-1.5 hours before meals.
